Music Monday: Because It's Necessary

Hello Lovely People! Hope all of you had a good morning! Mine was kind of rough cuz I just came back from taking the GRE. The test was no doubt hard, but it didn't make me feel defeated, so I guess that's a good thing. Anyways, the song of the week is.....da dala daaaa! "Imperative" by Bii and Andrew Tan!

I absolutely LOVE this song. Bii's and Andrew's voices fit perfectly with each other, and the beat of the song just makes it even more perfect. But the thing that I like the most about the song is it's message. Every time I get discouraged or a little sad, I just play this song and immediately I feel empowered and ready to take on whatever is coming at me.

So basically, the song is about the things you need to do in order to live life and follow your dreams. Life is hard, but every obstacle and every trial will only make you stronger. You'll fail and maybe you won't know which direction you're supposed to go, but every time you see the light of hope, go for it. You will have to sacrifice some things, but the reward will be even greater. There are those who will look down on you, but you just have to ignore them and continue on your way. Live for your own beliefs and do what you believe is right. These are the things that are "Imperative" in life.

So, if you're discouraged right now, hopefully this song will lift your spirits up. Know that everything will be okay and that what you're going through is just part of life. Continue to be strong and keep moving forward.
