Drama Quotes: Pinocchio

There were soooo many made-me-think kinda moments in Pinocchio. So here's a list of my favorite quotes from the drama.

Ep. 1

"There are many times in life when I'm made to realize just how small this world truly is. I'm sure there's been times in everyone's lives when you meet a perfect stranger and come to realize their fate is intertwined with yours...Whether the fate be good or evil, it's strange how it intertwines."
~Game Show Host

Ep. 2

"I don't have a direction either. I'm even jealous of hurricanes these days. At least a direction is decided for them."
~Choi In Ha
Ep. 4

"What's even more difficult than putting someone else's money into your pocket is forcing your own ideas into someone else's head."
~Choi Dal Po/ Ki Ha Myung

"She's more beautiful and important to me than anyone else in this world, like how every other father in this world feels about their daughters. That's why no matter whom In Ha ends up with, no one will ever be good enough for her in my eyes."
~Choi Dal Pyung (In Ha's Dad)
Ep. 5
"Keeping things bottled in will make you sick. You have to tell people you're ill in order to treat the illness and let others know when you're struggling so that people can help you."
~Choi Gong Pil (In Ha's Grandpa)

"Who cares whether it was by coincidence or not? All that matters is that we finally met."
~Seo Bum Jo

Ep. 7

"Our simple words saved a person's life. Isn't that amazing?"
~Seo Bum Jo

"You shy away from poop because it's scary, not because it's filthy. If the poop is filthy, you clean it up, not avoid it. I'm sure you're avoiding it because you're scared of falling into a pile of poop."
"It's a problem if you take up the challenge without knowing to be fearful of it, but you'll be fine as long as you know to be fearful of it beforehand."
~Choi Gong Pil
Ep. 9
"A truth trapped in a wall of lies may look still and peaceful like calm waters. But without anyone even being aware of it, the truth found the tiniest crack in the wall and started leaking out toward the world."
~Choi Dal Po/ Ki Ha Myung
Ep. 12
"You killed someone with your words."
~Choi In Ha
Ep. 13
"Apologies should be given to the person that they're owed to. Apologizing to anyone else is just a pathetic act of self-remorse."
~Ki Jae Myung
Ep. 14

"When a dog is heard barking, then other dogs in the neighborhood start to bark along without even knowing the reason."
~Hwang Gyo Dong

"It's not good to compare people. Once you start doing that...then it's the end of happiness."
~Choi Gong Pil
Ep. 19

"Pretending that you're okay because you feel bad about it...I've realized that it's just foolish."
~Choi Dal Po/Ki Ha Myung

"I like her so much that I'm sad to see the time go even when I'm with her. Those times are too precious to me, and that's why I've let it all go. Seeking revenge or holding a grudge, I've moved past all that."
~Choi Dal Po/Ki Ha Myung

KHM: "Forgiveness probably came too easily for me, didn't it?"
KJM: "Not easy...but impressive."
KHM: "There's nothing to be impressed by. Being obsessed with seeking revenge and finding blame in others was deterring me from seeing what I really needed to see. I kept investigating as if I already knew the answers and I investigated as if I couldn't even see the truth of people's real lives. I kept making those mistakes, and it started to scare me. I felt afraid that I may become a reporter like Sung Cha Ok."

"Whether you want to forgive or not, do what you feel is right. There's no need for you to seek my permission. I've killed people. So what right would I have... to even blame or forgive someone?...That quality of yours...don't ever lose it."
~Choi Dal Po/Ki Ha Myung

Ep. 20

"There's a moment that I really regret. It's about a 30 second moment. I regret those 30 seconds more than any other 30 seconds of my life."
~Seo Bum Jo
"Happiness earned through deceit always comes to an end...Even if you hide out of fear or turn a blind eye because you're appalled, forgetting about the truth doesn't make it go away."
~Choi Dal Po/Ki Ha Myung

"But in the end, I realized that you have to face it head on. No matter how painful it may be...in the end, you still have to face it. What other choice do you have? When you're faced with truth."
~Choi In Ha
